Set down a narrow street in the old town of Pollensa
lies this unexpected lovingly restored town house. Set on two floors, the
property has four double bedrooms and three bathrooms sleeping a total of eight
people. The beautiful back yard comes complete with Jacuzzi and hanging plants
making this area perfect for al fresco dining.
Inside, the property exudes character in every corner,
one can see as you walk in the house that the owner is related to art and some
of the walls have been painted with murals and works of art are hanging
everywhere.
The living/dining area and the kitchen give onto the
back patio. There is one bedroom on the ground floor and a bathroom with
shower, basin and WC.
Up the flight of stairs, these fork into two sets of
stairs, making two different sleeping areas, on the left, the master double
bedroom with en suite open plan full bathroom, from here another flight of
steps leads to a mezzanine with a single bed and further up a roof terrace
which offers fantastic views over the roof tops of the old town. A glass door
gives out from the master bedroom onto metal stairs down into the back patio. It
also has a very romantic balcony.
On the right of the steps are two more bedrooms, one with large singles and the second with singles put together sleeping two people in each room. A further shower/wc services these two bedrooms.
All bedrooms have air conditioning and the property
has a fireplace and central heating for the winter months.
The house lies in a very narrow street and parking outside the property is not feasible. There is plenty of parking spaces near the property.
Please note the major festivity in Pollensa takes place on the 2nd of August and concerts and other activities take place during that week. It is possible to hear some noise at some stage, specially the night of the 1st of August and the festivity of the Moors and Christians on the afternoon of the next day. We would advise not to arrive or depart on this day.
The center of Pollensa is two minutes walking from the house where there are plenty of Cafés and nice Restaurants. The renowned fruit and vegetable market takes place every Sunday morning.
